assurer le rôle général de représentation notamment des retraités et personnes âgées, auprès des pouvoirs publics, des instances régionales, des organismes et institutions susceptibles de s'intéresser à leurs problèmes ; encourager et organiser la formation des administrateurs et futurs administrateurs départementaux et apporter son aide pour la formation des administrateurs des associations adhérentes aux fédérations départementales ; favoriser les échanges et relations entre les associations adhérentes ; être le relais entre la Fédération Nationale et les Fédérations Départementales et réciproquement ; mettre en place et coordonner des projets et/ou des actions communes aux Fédérations adhérentes ; l'Union régionale adhère à la Fédération Nationale de Générations Mouvement, elle acquitte auprès de celle-ci ma cotisation forfaitaire fixée par cette dernière ; elle est apolitique, non confessionnelle et indépendante de toute organisation professionnelle et syndicale
