Objet :

contribuer à des changements sociaux à moyen et long terme en organisant et promouvant les évènements participatifs que sont les Bibliothèques Vivantes, en France et en particulier dans la région Midi-Pyrénées, et toutes les activités qui en découleraient ; l'association, en particulier par les Bibliothèques Vivantes, souhaite oeuvrer à la rencontre des champs d'action culturels et sociaux, par des activités évènementielles innovantes et ludiques ; les Bibliothèques Vivantes, par le biais de rencontres conviviales, confrontent chaque personne à des informations, des modes de vie et de pensée qui ne lui sont pas familiers, tels les voyages ; elles visent à développer l'ouverture d'esprit, à enrichir la réflexion et la créativité de ceux qui les pratiquent ; nous pensons que les bibliothèques vivantes sont un véritable outil du vivre ensemble, la compréhension de l'autre étant la base de la tolérance
