faire connaître le rôle premier de Jean de Verrazane dans la découverte de la baie de New-York, de l'île de Manhattan et de la quasi-totalité de la côte Est des États-Unis d'Amérique ; lui donner la place d'honneur qui lui revient et qu'il doit occuper dans la mémoire collective de l'humanité ; aider et participer à la préparation de la commémoration du cinq centième anniversaire de cette découverte, le 7 mars 2024 ; utiliser en ce cas, tous les moyens publicitaires existants (livres, vidéos, films, médias, internet, etc...) ; organiser des rencontres, des colloques, des conférences, des banquets ; ces activités se feront en commun accord avec les associations amies qui le souhaiteront
