représenter l'outre-mer dans la région Aquitaine : fédérer les associations ultramarines autour de thèmes porteurs comme la culture, la mémoire, la transmission entre les générations, la citoyenneté, la politique de la ville, la diversité sociale et culturelle, la lutte contre les discriminations, l'écologie et le développement durable, l'initiative économique et sociale, etc... ; créer au profit des différentes associations des originaires d'Outre-Mer déclarées en Aquitaine, un réseau formel pour une mutualisation des moyens (finances, matériels, locaux...) et des savoir-faire ; être un interlocuteur face aux partenaires, élus, institutions publiques et aux acteurs économiques ; travailler au développement des partenariats en l'Aquitaine et les régions d'Outre-Mer, ainsi que des échanges avec les associations ultramarines des autres régions de l'hexagone et des zones dit(e) pays ACP...etc ; assurer la promotion de la diversité
