A ce titre, l'association sera l'interlocuteur unique des collectivités publiques nouvellement organisées en application de la réforme territoriale de l'Etat, notamment, du conseil régional et des directions régionales de l'Etat ; de réaliser un état des lieux de la situation sportive, juridique, économique et financière de chaque ligue la composant ; de préparer le projet de fusion qui sera ensuite arrêté par le comité directeur de chaque ligue membre de l'association et soumis pour approbation à leur assemblée générale respective ; de devenir, le cas échéant, la nouvelle ligue régionale de triathlon qui résultera de la fusion des ligues la composant
