communiquer et promouvoir les expositions, manifestations et événements se déroulant dans la métropole montpellieraine et en région dans le domaine de l'art contemporain; concevoir et d'organiser des expositions et des manifestations d'art contemporain notamment la manifestation "Saison Montpellier Arts Visuels" qui a pour objectif de faire connaître au grand public, local, national et international, la vitalité et la richesse de la scène de l'art contemporain dans la métropole montpellieraine; favoriser l'intégration des Arts Visuels dans le contexte éducatif, social et urbain; favoriser la sensibilisation et l'accès à la connaissance auprès de tous les publics; fédérer membres et acteurs culturels dans la métropole montpellieraine et en région et mettre leurs moyens en commun pour participer à des manifestations artistiques ou diffuser le programme de leurs activités
