favoriser un développement progressif et soutenu du design au service du développement économique auprès des institutions, entreprises commerciales et particuliers sur le territoire de la région Occitanie ; créer une dynamique de promotion du design notamment auprès du grand public ; élaborer, promouvoir et garantir le respect de bonnes pratiques professionnelles et spécialement une certaine éthique par les acteurs de la filière ; être un interlocuteur expert auprès de ses interlocuteurs ; mettre en réseau tous les renseignements relatifs au progrès de la maîtrise du design ; favoriser par tous moyens appropriés l'accession de ses adhérents à des compétences dans les différents domaines concernant le design ; créer et pérenniser des liens entre les différents partenaires du design
