participer à la sauvegarde du littoral méditerranéen, et du littoral des mers et océans dans le monde ; Favoriser la prise de conscience sur la vulnérabilité du littoral et participer à sa protection en créant un centre de réflexion et d'étude ; Dans une optique d'adaptation au changement climatique, travailler à la compatibilité entre les activités humaines et le fonctionnement naturel des sites, accompagner le recul du trait de côte, travailler au maintien des paysages littoraux typiques, travailler à la sauvegarde de la biodiversité ; Pour cela, apport de notes techniques et de propositions, réalisation de mesures sur le terrain, réalisation d'études, organisation d'évènements scientifiques ou de vulgarisation ; Travail sur l'ensemble des thématiques jouant un rôle de levier sur la sauvegarde des littoraux dans un environnement durable : ingénierie dunaire et côtière, déchets, rejets en milieu naturel, urbanisme, mobilité, énergie, politiques publiques, activités économiques ;
