Objet :

Contribuer a assurer au niveau du département l'elaboration, la promotion et la commercialisation de produits touristiques en collaboration avec les professionnels et les organismes concernés par le tourisme à l'échelon régional, départemental et inter-communal ainsi qu'avec toute structure locale établie à cet effet; étudier et proposer toute mesure ayant pour effet de développer le potentiel touristique du département, améliorer la qualité de ses équipements, l'accueil et l'animation touristique; coordonner les efforts et les actions des divers organismes, collectivités et associations qui concourent au développement du tourisme en Indre-et-Loire; participer à la mise en oeuvre , en liaison avec les services concernés, de la politique touristique du département d'Indre-et-Loire pour la promotion générale de la Touraine; inciter et promouvoir la commercialisation de produits touristiques mise en oeuvre par les organismes créés à cet effet; organiser ponctuellement des formations directement liées à ses missions et complémentaires à celles déjà mises en place par d'autres organismes; inciter et accompagner les prestataires touristiques dans la mise en oeuvre d'une démarche Qualité en vue de l'obtention du label "Qualité Tourisme" délivré par l'Etat
