représenter le comité d'organisation des expositions du travail dans le département ; faire la promotion du concours auprès des médias départementaux, et le cas échéant régionaux ; rechercher les candidats potentiels ; procéder au recrutement et au suivi des candidats du département ; réunir les oeuvres des candidats et faciliter leur transport (aller-retour) vers les lieux de leur évaluation ; organiser ou participer à l'organisation d'expositions départementales ou régionales des oeuvres ; promouvoir et valoriser l'excellence professionnelle dans le département ; assurer la notoriété du concours "un des meilleurs ouvriers de France" dans le département d'Indre-et-Loire
