conduire les réflexions et mettre en oeuvre les actions nécessaires à la création de la cité internationale de la gastronomie en Val de Loire ; fédérer les acteurs publics et privés souhaitant s'engager dans cette création dans le respect du projet approuvé par les ministères de la culture et de l'agriculture ; initier et coordonner une programmation culturelle et scientifique visant à pouvoir : une vision large et dynamique de la gastronomie, la connaissance des réalités culturelles, socio-économiques, territoriales, environnementales et patrimoniales (variétés végétales, races animales, techniques et savoir-faire, pratiques sociales et culturelles, repas gastronomique des Français) qui lui sont liées, la mise en place d'activités d'éveil aux cultures alimentaires du plus jeune âge à l'âge adulte, le développement d'une économie gastronomique durable et créative fondée sur la qualification des acteurs ; contribuer aux activités du réseau des cités de la gastronomie animé par la mfpca
