regrouper les enseignants désirant pratiquer la pédagogie Freinet, organiser des actions d'information, d'animation et de formation (rencontres, stages, expositions...) ; diffuser les écrits et outils d'enseignement relatifs à la pédagogie Freinet et autres pédagogies coopératives, créer des outils d'enseignement et des supports de communication et d'information, constituer un fond documentaire, lieu de recherche et de formation, développer un partenariat avec d'autres mouvements pédagogiques, des institutions et les collectivités territoriales, et favoriser toutes autres actions en lien avec la pédagogie, contribuer à la vie et l'action de la fédération icem et en relayer les propositions, notamment par l'action du délégué départemental, l'association se reconnaît dans la charte de l'école moderne
