La réflexion sur les dimensions non monétaires et non marchandes de l'échage qui constituait l'objet premier du MAUSS, toujours actuelle, s'inscrit désormais dans ce cadre plus général. L'association est internationale. Elle utilisera tous les moyens légaux qu'elle jugera utiles à la réalisation de ses fins, notamment la publication d'une revu
