diffuser et promouvoir la musique folklorique latino-américaine sous forme chorale ; faire connaître à travers les diverses programmations et activités culturelles les différents aspects des traditions de toute l’Amérique, depuis le Mexique jusqu’à la Terre de Feu ; développer et entretenir à travers les contacts des liens privilégiés avec toute personne s’intéressant au monde latino-américain ; diffuser des partitions et des recueils de chants latino-américains ; enseigner les chants, les rythmes et les instruments du folklore lationo-américain ; stimuler la création par des concours de chants et de composition ; appuyer et aider moralement et matériellement les institutions culturelles ayant les mêmes objectifs que ceux de l’association
