favoriser et promouvoir les circulations douces, notamment les modes actifs de déplacement des piétons et des cyclistes (urbains, utilitaires, sportifs, loisirs, etc) , et les transports en commun de la communauté d'agglomération Versailles grand parc ; soutenir ou initier toute action, toute démarche ou toute expérience en vue de défendre les droits, les intérêts et les besoins des usagers de s circulations douces ; veiller notamment à ce que les autorités investies créent des itinéraires piétonniers et cyclables qui soient sécurisés, directs et confortables, et qu'elles entretiennent les réseaux existants ; participer à la réflexion approfondie, proposer et encourager la mise en œuvre d'un maillage cohérent et continu des itinéraires ; protéger l'environnement par la promotion des déplacements propres et contribuer à l'éc0-mobilité sous toutes ses formes ( professionnelle, scolaire, familiale ou autre) ; améliorer la santé publique en encourageant les modes actifs de déplacement qui constituent un exercice physique quotidien
