faire connaître les œuvres cinématographiques de Sarah Maldoror et les œuvres et la pensée de Mario de Andrade ; Perpétuer les œuvres de ces deux intellectuels, sauvegarder, valoriser, diffuser et encourager la recherche dans l'objectif de faire vivre leur mémoire et pensées ; L'Association se dotera de tous les moyens et ressources (publiques ou privées) pour restaurer, promouvoir les œuvres filmées ou non, publiées ou non, gérer, cataloguer, archiver et mettre en valeur les archives publiques et privées, audiovisuelles, sonores, écrites sous formes de tous documents ou supports de Sarah Maldoror et Mario de Andrade , elle participera à toute activité culturelle (gratuite ou payante) de son choix, à l'organisation de rencontres, colloques, rétrospectives, festivals, manifestations (publique ou privée) permettant de transmettre et faire rayonner leurs œuvres à l'international Et à ce titre vendre, acheter, publier, diffuser tout document lié aux œuvres de Sarah Maldoror et Mario de Andrade
